Just one question, after deleting the Teams folder from the File Explorer, do we need to delete it from the Recycle Bin too?? As it is appearing in my Recycle Bin...

Hi Cool_Aanchal
It's up to you to decide what to do with your Recycle Bin. You can choose to delete the Teams folder or even empty your Recycle Bin as long as your Teams app is working again. It means you will not need the previous folder.
Thanks

Hi gerysumaylo:
Are you signing into Teams with a Microsoft 365 for Business or school account? If so, you can try to reset your password via this link:

I tried the trouble shooting steps and the problem still persists as I am not able to see chats or type anything. When I click on the chat icon it just says "was unable to load and to refresh". I refresh and nothing happens

Hi ManashPratim,
In this case, you may try uninstalling and reinstalling your Teams. Also, change your network.
Thanks,

Hello,
For more than 2 weeks now, we have more or less 20% of the Teams users who have problems not getting new messages in Teams desktop app.
It works without problems with the mobile app or web app.
We did several times this procedure on the computers affected:
- close Teams desktop app
- uninstall Teams desktop app
- reboot the computer
- delete all folders related to Teams in C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local and C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming
- download the latest version of Teams desktop app from official website
- reinstall Teams desktop app
We also tried just logging out and logging in again in Teams desktop app, sometimes it works several minutes or hours, but the problem comes back again.
I thought that the problem was solved when I red this:
But the problem still comes back.
And we never had problems more than 2-3 days before with Teams desktop app.
NB: we are all connected on 2 different Teams accounts: one of our small company (40 users) who has all its servers on-premise when possible (DC and Exchange servers on-premise only), and the 2nd connection is with our "mother" company (60000 users). We only have problems with our small company Teams accounts.
Thanks for the help!

I had a ticket with ms today and they reference TM285554 though it's status is "service restored" but still it seems quite a few tenants are affected.
I got to know from the support it will be solved late October. :(

Great instruction. as it seems the Cache is causing quite a few issues it would be good if ms could create a "Clear cache" button in the client :)
Another way to clear the cache is from the dev tools.
